Arielle dans
Arielle and Zoe were the dancing queens of my cousin Franci’s wedding. Here Arielle is already in her PJs , but still would not quit the dance floor, they had so much fun. The speakers was also one of their main attractions. They would just sit and clap or dance in front of it. Party Animals!!

Thanksgiving in Africa

I must say that it was a bit hard to be thankful for thanksgiving without Zachary, and I could never be thankful for pumpkin pie( I just don’t get it), but we had a wonderful time of sharing and eating and having fun with friends! We managed to make all the regular Thanksgiving goodies and more, we even had Korean beef, thanks to our friend David Song.

Arielle and Zoe always want to eat with their friends at our Kabokweni feeding program where we feed orphans every Monday and Wednesday. Arielle will eat almost anything, and loves sharing it. The kids really like playing with them, helping them up and down the slide and just having fun. They always want to pick Zoe up because she is so cute and small, but she does not like to be picked up at all, she just want to watch them!

We had the wonderful privilege of a weekend visit at friends of ours house, at a place called Leopard Creek on the border of the Kruger Park. As you see on the photo, just across the river is the Kruger and the Elephants, Hippos and other animals will come across and graze on the bushes in front of the house( of course there is a small electric fence to keep them off the property) On the Saturday evening a small herd of elephants came right up to the fence, about 3meters away to graze. It was wonderful seeing them that close and you have to sit perfectly still not to upset them, because the elephants can just stomp on the fence come across!! It was wonderful to eat our meals on the veranda and watch the animals come to drink at the river.

When Zoe wakes up in the morning she has the craziest hair and some days there is just nothing you can do about it! No matter how much you comb it, it just ends up looking much the same for the rest of the day. I love it though and it make great funny photos!
