Everybody On Board
Arielle loves her baby stroller, the little peoples person that she is could not bare to leave out one of her animal friends and had to get them all on board. The more the merrier!!

Arielle’s Princess Birthday Party
Arielle and Emma Grace(her cousin) had their birthday party together. Their birthday is only nine days apart. They wanted a princess party. Here is the little princesses at the cake table. My mom helped me make these dresses and the girls were very exited to put them on for the party.

All Boys Need Princess Chap Stick
Arielle got chap stick in one of her birthday gifts, and off coarse all the boys had to get some! After all it was blue chap stick!
In Africa the best toys are not from Toys R Us!
Since there is so much construction happening on the campus there are piles of sand and bricks everywhere. This particular stack of bricks is one of the children’s favorite ‘jungle gyms’. They hide little treasures in the spaces inside the bricks, like food, toys, leaves, anything that can be mined out again later. Zoe also manages to climb to the top. She is quite the climber, so I always have to try and stack the bricks on the side so that she can’t manage to climb up. In Africa the best toys are not from Toys R Us!
The Broccoli Bride
We were picking broccoli in our little vegetable garden and Arielle decided that it had to be her bouquet with her dress up wedding dress. What an adorable bride! She really loves playing ‘wedding’ since she was a flower girl in her aunts wedding in February.
The Girls
Arielle is loving having her cousins around but is having to learn to share and not bite when she gets angry! She is such a extrovert and loves being right up next to her cousin Emma Grace. She follows her around and is always touching or rubbing up next to her. Zoe is adjusting fine to the time change but still waking us up around 5am every morning! She now has six teeth at the age of 7.5 months.
Anneke breathed a sigh of relief the first few days back in South Africa. I imagine it is very similar to the feeling you get when you pull in the drive way after a very long trip. On top of that we are staying with family where she can break free of full time parenting while the cousins play with each other and occupy each others time.
We still have to travel to capetown for December holiday and it will be another adjustment for all of them. Keep praying for the transition and all the traveling. Cheers, Z and the girls.
